How to become a Juggler

There are workshops available in which expert jugglers and coaches will work with smaller groups on specific techniques and skills. There are also books, videos, dvd's, magazines, mentors, schools, clubs, and conventions.

The most important part of acquiring the skills is practice. Juggling skills can take hours, weeks, months, or years to master. Some people have a knack for picking up the necessary skills quickly.

Just as important to a performer is his on-stage presence, his ability to banter, be personable, and to win over the audience. Presentation skills must be developed through rehearsal and performance in front of real people. Performing on the street gives great feedback. On the street, if you’re not entertaining, funny, or otherwise engaging, people will walk away.
